MEGAN JUDD STITT: I have been dancing for my whole life. I’ve danced jazz and ballet for 25 years, ballroom for 14 years and have been teaching dance for 8 years. I love dancing because I love music. Whenever I hear a song I feel an urge to move with it and express it. Dance has always been a part of me and I have such a passion to share it with others. My favorite dance changes daily, because I love them all. My favorite is usually whatever song is playing. 🙂
Megan danced for four years with BYU Ballroom Dance Company. She graduated from BYU with a BA in Ballroom Dance. She is a nationally recognized and award winning choreographer, having choreographed for college, high school, Jr. High and Elementary ballroom teams and companies, and various plays, choirs and films. She started and produced Ballroom Nights at Studio 600 in downtown Provo. She also directed and produced a Ballroom Instructional video for EFY (Especially For Youth) shown all over the United States and Europe. Megan currently teaches ballroom at Lakeridge Jr. High and at Island Style Dance Studio and also teaches private lessons.
